Jennifer Coleman

Jennifer Coleman is the Director of Human Resources and Operations at Cabrini Green Legal Aid, where she advances the organization’s mission by building strong, equitable people and operational systems that support staff and clients alike.

She brings more than 15 years of experience across nonprofit and corporate environments, with expertise in human resources leadership, talent development, organizational operations, and change management.

Prior to joining CGLA, Jennifer held leadership roles at American Water, Ulta Beauty, Ares Management, and Nuveen Investments, partnering with executive teams to strengthen infrastructure, improve employee experience, and drive sustainable growth.

She is passionate about fostering inclusive, mission-driven workplace cultures that enable teams to do their best work in service of justice. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communication from Columbia College Chicago.

In her spare time, she enjoys Pilates, hot yoga, traveling, and sharing great meals with family and friends.
